Originally from upstate New York, Iyana Young is an artist and educator grounded in mixed media work. In her current work, she is exploring the idea of human connection through pattern making. Iyana earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the Maryland Institute College of Art, in Baltimore, Maryland. She is also seeking a Masters in Art Teaching degree from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
